Product design was always my basis however at the same time being expressive and creative gave me a great outlook to pursue jewellery. 

 

Attending The University Dundee created a portal for me to explore designing pieces that would be of aid to someone. I began designing an amulet for someone who suffered from anxiety and depression during my second year of university, using art therapy drawing and infusing the piece with lavender made the person feel at ease and have a new perspective in life due to the uplifting colours. Having this reaction gave me more of an incentive to design for someone as it made a difference to their life.

 

From then on I have continued to make pieces that make a difference in peoples lives and it is something I strive to take forward.
